Volunteer
The Illinois Valley Youth Choir depends on its committed supporters to run smoothly. There are many opportunities to help throughout the year.
Registration
All singers are required to attend fall registration and do a short voice screening for placement in the choir. The choir is open to children in grades 3-8 who demonstrate a desire to sing and learn more about music. Boys must have unchanged voices. January registration is held for new members who wish to join mid-year as well as current members who are requested to re-audition by the choir director. Rehearsals are held each Tuesday throughout the school year from 5:00 to 6:15 p.m. in the choir room at LaSalle-Peru High School. Most singers spend several years in this choir developing basic singing skills and musicianship.

Winter sure has a mind of its own this year! We rescheduled AGAIN due to the icy conditions. If you haven't signed up, don't delay! First rehearsal will be immediately following registration from 5:00-6:15pm. Can't wait to finally see everyone!!

Some pre-concert fun before our final performance with the IVYSO on Sunday, December 17. The symphony played fantastic and there was a big crowd, which as a performer is so much fun to see.
We made sure to have so down time together before this concert. These kids have forged some wonderful friendships with each other.
